Yes, but they should be relatively inexpensive items many of which are common household items. Examples of supplies used in the projects are: poster board, 2cm wide black tape, Blue painters tape, construction paper, a ruler, etc. Depending on your laptop you may also need a USB-A to USB-C cable or adapter. The robot comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
This online course has been designed for beginners. The recommended age is 5th grade and up. At a minimum your student should have covered the following topics:

This class is composed of pre-recorded video lessons release on a weekly basis. If you sign up late, all lessons are still accessible. You may start at the beginning and continue working thru each lesson for the duration of your course access.
Once you setup a login for your student, they can login begin working through the video lessons in sequence as they are released. The course keeps track of their progress, and will automatically return them to the lesson where they left off. No need to create lesson plans. Most students can utilize the lessons with minimal supervision from a teacher. Supplies needed for a lesson will be listed at the beginning of the lesson or in an assignment itself.

Arduino Alvik robots have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. If you received a defective product, contact us at [email protected] and we can assist you with the warranty claim. Any shipping cost for warranty returns will be the customer's responsibility. Manufacturer's warranty will not cover items that were misused, abused, or altered.
